Dear Editor:

"Don't believe anything you hear, and only half of what you see!"

These words of wisdom from my father have served me well throughout my life. You, as a good newspaperman know well, "Check your sources!" Get at least two! Who is saying what, how and why? Follow the money, it has a corrosive influence on the truth. Before you quote an "expert" on this or that, find out who is paying him. The old saying, "Dance with the one who brung you to the party!" means that we all owe some allegiance to those who brought us into the fold. If the Wise Ones of the Ruling Class, are paying our way---they will at least influence what we believe and say, if not downright change it for the worst!

America and the World are being run by a tiny cabal as diverse as is all of humanity, differing from the rest of us only in that they think they are God. That makes them evil. These people show up in all walks of life, but all share the vision that they, and their own kind, are the only ones with a clear vision of how to run the world ---and all of its people, right down to the minute-est detail of our individual lives. Who are they, what are they?

The are, as Angelo Codevilla's little book described them, our Ruling Class---and they are evil. They are joined by many "wannabe" ruling class types, some just as evil but not "accepted" yet, others foolish dupes, but all ---whether they know it or not, promoting unspeakable evil upon all of us. And they have infected, top down,  every institution including the Church, all business and cultural institutions, and of course, government itself.

They are doctors and lawyers, corporate executives and top government officials---both elected and appointed, heads of universities public and private, and eleemosynary, charitable and educational institutions. They tend to be in leadership positions but may be teachers and other practitioners as well. The wannabes infect all ranks.

The only qualification for joining the Ruling Class is acceptance of all their "gods." They are more likely to be democrats and from big cities, but not all. They are either hard core liberals or just along for the power ride. Much or most of the Republican Party establishment, and many self-described conservatives are among their ranks, acting as Judases to their own party and cause. Most will reject the label "liberal" or that they are a part of a ruling cabal.

Rome fell due to its inadequate gods and in spite of the growing influence of Christianity. The U. S. and most "developed" countries in the West are failing because they have rejected the One True God in favor of similar gods of their own making. Just that and whom those gods are I will explore later.

What to do about it? Challenge everything you hear that "just doesn't sound right!" Demand the truth, all of it, from leaders---and anybody you have business with! That has always been the most effective cure for the Big Lie!
