Atty. Gen. Ken Cuccinelli Thursday attended a Norfolk news conference to campaign for passage of a constitutional amendment to limit government abusive practices of seizing private property for re-sale to developers or other uses.

He appeared at Central Radio a longtime, defense important radio company that the Norfolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority is trying to seize to turn over for development at Old Dominion Village for Old Dominion University.

Cuccinelli said, “"The defense of property rights is the defense of a founding principle of this country," said Cuccinelli. "It belongs in our constitution."
