David McCormick worked his way up in the United Parcel Service from dock loader and driver to management partner. He then went to law school, started a private law practice, and is now an adjunct professor at Regent University.

Throughout his careers, David McCormick has prepared over 7,000 budgets. He is the author of the 2011 McCormick Balanced Budget Proposal for America. At the forum, Mr. McCormick handed out a sheet with budget projects derived from the City of Virginia Beach's own website. It quoted a Brookings Institute study issued in September stating that Virginia Beach has had the 3rd worst city for economic recovery in the nation.

It's time for a real change in government. We need City Councilmen who can cut spending and manage the City of Virginia Beach wisely. Vote for David McCormick on November 6, 2012.

Christine: Correctly, Wall Street 24/7 rated Virginia Beach the best managed city in the nation. Business Insider rated VB the third worst recovering city in the nation. As far as accurate projections, none can be finitely predicted without the knowledge of the future economical environment. All through this campaign, and listening to the supposed conservative candidates, all I have heard is rhetorical broad brush austerity without "cut the fat" specifics. More importantly, there is not definitive list of untouchable core services and specifically, what budget line items they include. The "conservative candidates" need do a better job than just offer a protest vote.

The fiscally conservative candidates for council and RK for Mayor are offering much more than a "protest vote".

They are offering a fundamental change toward a notion of small government, by and for the taxpayers. Let's take an example and shine the light of reason on it, shall we?

If a small business paid six million dollars for a study to determine the feasibility of a major capital works project, wouldn't it be weird if the board of directors called for a vote months before they saw the report's conclusions? But, Sessoms, et al, have put Light Rail on the ballot to build support for the billion dollar boondoggle. Now, frankly, I don't care how Wall Street would rate that under-the-radar move because I just helped bail-out those corrupt s.o.b.'s to the tune of trillions of dollars! Wall Street gets bailouts, home-owning taxpayers don't.

Elect RK, Golden, Smith and McCormick to join Moss and DeSteph and put the city government back in the hands of the folks who pay ...

David McCormick is a great candidate, and his replies to questions at the Forums, show that he has common sense, and totally understands how to
balance a buget. Most publications, like the Wall Street Journal, spin facts for those who advertise with them. Our City is managed well, if you are a select developer, banker or select hotel owner. There is something really rotten, in the State of Denmark, when a sitting Governor endorses local candidates, and parites with them.

For the Pilot to pick a few dumb replies by the best candidate for Mayor, is what
they have done for decades. If you look at the Pilotonline. You will see color ads
for Glenn Davis. Dirty Money, seems to talk louder then Clean Money. The Pilot & TV Stations are in heaven with the Policial Ads.
