Dr. Stanley

MARION, VA -- Dr. Ralph Stanley and the Clinch Mountain Boys will launch the 2010 season of the award winning Song of the Mountains, PBS concert series, in Marion, at tonight.

The presentation and taping begins at 7 p.m. in the historic Lincoln Theatre.  Tickets to this event are a cheap $25.

Tim White, the show's creator and host,  said Dr. Stanley's special guests include his son, Ralph Stanley II, the Darrell Webb Band, the Blu-Js and the comedy of Phil Campbell, son of the famous Archie Campbell of Hee Haw and country music fame.
